The Rag Bag Scheme

The 'Rag Bag' recycling scheme has been developed to provide regular fundraising for schools and nurseries in the UK.

The scheme increases awareness about textile recycling and by increasing recycling rates we can help the environment by ensuring less material goes to landfill.

The scheme is completely FREE, and your school will be paid for every kg recycled. You can raise hundreds of pounds with every collection made!

We have three recycling options which will help you achieve your fundraising and recycling goals.

• Bag Scheme: This is the most popular option. We will provide you with a digital collection pack to promote your collection. We will collect the bags on a suitable day and your BACS Payment will be issued within 14 days of the collection.
• Outside Bank Scheme: If you would like to recycle on a more regular basis we now offer a FREE outside textile bank – click here for more information.
• Inside Bank Scheme: If you would like to recycle textiles on a more regular basis but don’t have room for an outdoor bank, we can offer you a FREE cardboard internal bin – click here for more information.
